I saw this gorgeous Hudson Hornet convertible brougham cruising on the toll road today. The cell phone picture hardly does it justice.

I should of been born in the 40's so I could experience the 1950's. IMO it was the pinnacle of automotive design. Pretty soon every car will be like Nascar. They'll all be the same shape dictated by the wind tunnel, but with different lights and grilles.

As long as people want different interiors, different MPG options, different levels of interior room, different trunk/hatch sizes, and different levels of safety equipment, the exterior of cars will never look identical. They might be converging, but there's an extreme limit at how close cars can get together before you stop serving the market's needs.
